intelligence travels in many directions. the ability to store and recall trivial information is but one of those directions.If one sucks at the tv game show Jeopardy, does this mean they are not very intelligent?
Jeopardy is a great brain exerciser but there could be alot of reasons you're not good at it and you could still be very intelligent. You could be from a different culture than western/N.American or it could be your first few times watching it and you haven't really got the pace down. It is an excellent show for a wide range of knowledge and trivia....it can broaden your awareness. Personally I love it. I can do very well alot of the time but there are those times when every category is foreign to me. Jeopardy is far beyond say...Family Feud..Who wants to be a millionaire,etc..If one sucks at the tv game show Jeopardy, does this mean they are not very intelligent?
the show requires that you know a lot of unless things and are quick to remember
not a good measure of intelligence
