So I could go on "Who wants to be a millionair" or "Jeopardy" and in a few minutes I could win 125000 or even a million?
why didn't everbody try it, why didn't ppl who win be featured in the news, like people who win the jackpot?Do people really win real money on TV game shows?
Yes you do win money. Of course there are taxes to be paid , usually much higher then what you normally paid. On bigger wins it is rumored that taxes can be as much as 40%.
getting on a game show is not as easy as it seems, even if you get called down to audition, or wait in line, you can wait for hours only to not be picked. I know plenty of people who have waited 20+ times to get on the price is right (just to be in the audience for a chanced to come on down) and never get choosen.
