I'm talking like line them up like on Jeopardy or something and ask them questions about foreign affairs, history, international issues, etc just to see know knows the most about the US and the world. All impromptu style, no cramming, no preparation, no nothing, just ask them questions and get answers.

That is such a good idea!! It'd be fun...and something everyone would watch, in a more friendly manner! Wow, I really wish there was a way to submit an idea for a game show theme...b/c they do have like, celebrity jeopardy etc. i think.
