I would say no. He had a very successful season with the bears and led them to the championship game. He kept the game close even though Jay Cutler left with an "injury" and had to go with an unproven Hanie. I would say he did a hell of a job really.
Yes. I think he was in the hot seat last year, when he didn't even make the playoffs. Any team out there that has the talent to go to the Super Bowl, that DOESN'T go to the Super Bowl, has a problem. Usually a team that has a problem gets rid of the coach. He's the scapegoat. I think the Packers' receivers are better than the Bears' receivers. I think the Bears need a big play receiver in the draft to compete with the Packers next season and beyond. Actually, look at the NFC North. The Packers have the best set of receivers, followed closely by the Vikings, and then the Lions, and the Bears come up last. Johnny Knox is pretty good, and fast, but he's no Calvin Johnson in Detroit, or Donald Driver in Green Bay, nor is he a Percy Harvin in Minnesota. im a hard core packer fan, but lovies job is not in jeopardy. he did a great job with the fraudulent talent that he had. the bears have been frauds all year and now are singing the blues. remember the signs the fans held up at the end of the seahawk game? bring on the pack! well you got it. and we all know the pack crushed there asses the first game too. the score board just didnt reflect it.18 penelties?really?cheating *** , playing at home b.s.!!!! so kiss it bear fans...haha! however lovies a good coach. who else you gonna get? you made it to the final 4 and got beat by the best! keep him. and all that backup q.b. crap? there backup was there salvation or it would have been much,much worse!

Um no! This Bears team this year has exceeded people's expectations this year. No one thought the Bears were going to go this far. Lovie Smith almost made it to the Superbowl with a shitty o-line and with a third string QB
No, I think he deserves recognition for leading them to a superbowl and to the NFC championship game.
No. They still got the #2 seed with him, and they only lost by 7 despite using their 3rd string QB most of the game.
