How to Make an Action Button Disappear Upon Clicking in Powerpoint?

I'm doing a little Jeopardy! game on powerpoint. I used action buttons. After clicking on one and going back home, I wanted something to let everyone know that that button has already been clicked. I was thinking that maybe if there was a way to make it disappear... and if not, anything else will do. It just has to be done quickly and from the running presentation.
