Tips on doing a Jeopardy show?

My group is doing a mock Jeopardy game for a presentation, and since I haven't watched the show in a while, i need some tips.

How do the contestants get to choose questions--who gets to go first? If one of the contestants gets their answer wrong, can the other contestants answer it?

please help outline some of the jeopardy basics for me!Tips on doing a Jeopardy show?
You can take a look at LearningSquared which is a create and play your own jeopardy style game.Tips on doing a Jeopardy show?
At the beginning you choose one contestant randomly to be "the last correct questioner". After that the last correct questioner gets to choose the category and amount.

Once the answer is revealed and read (they have to wait til the reader is finished) then everyone can buzz in and the first buzzer gets first chance to give the correct question. Then next if they get it wrong, and so on. If you get it wrong (or buzz in and give no answer), you lose the amount the question was worth.

If you don't have buzzers, you can let the person who picked have first chance, then if they get it wrong the person with the least money gets a chance (but they can say "I don't know" and not lose any money).

Good luck!
