Issues that are up to individual US states to work out?

I am making a Jeopardy game for a school project (I'm a high school freshman) and one question is this: "Issues such as _______ are not controlled by Congress; it鈥檚 up to individual states to decide what to do."

What are some of those issues? I have same-sex marriage and capital punishment so far, but would like to have others just to make sure.Issues that are up to individual US states to work out?
Education would be one.Issues that are up to individual US states to work out?
Google: Article 1, Section 8.

You will see 18 Enumerated Powers of the federal government.

EVERYTHING BUT THE 18 IS WHAT AUTHORITY THEY MAY HAVE (Unless it is illegal/unconstitutional).Issues that are up to individual US states to work out?
