Jeopardy Game??

I'm working on a jeopardy game for school. The idea is to have 6 buttons connected to a central base unit (I guess just using spt2 wire). The central base unit will have 6 lights on it. After asking a trivia question, people will press a button causing a light to light up.



The problem I'm having is that after one person presses their button I don't want any other lights turning on so we don't get confused who was the first person to press it.Jeopardy Game??

Wire the buttons in series such that pressing one opens the circuit to the supply voltage for all of them.
