How to make a part of the same slide come in at a different time.?

I need to have the same part of a slide in a power point come in at at different time and i need to know how to do this. The side is going to be apart of a jeopardy game if that helps.

For example the slide may be somewhat like this.

"This is a form of nonfiction in which a writer tells the life story..."

Then i want this to come in after it "Biography"



Can someone tell me how to do this on a MacBook 2009 version of power point?How to make a part of the same slide come in at a different time.?
go to the "animations" toolbar, and then you can change the animation and setting to come in one by one.
